Changing The Battery in a Dynatel 573 or 500 series Transmitter This is a demo of the battery arrangment in the Dynatel 573 or 500 series cable locator transmitter. The Dynatel uses 4 6V lantern batteries with the screw on terminals. These batteries are hard to find these days. A sealed lead acid battery saves a whole lot of weight and they can be re-charged with an wall transfomer that you might have laying around the house.
